It's Too Late For This(3)

Addison quickly made her way down the steps to the main floor that was the gym. She unlocked the glass door, opened the shader curtains, and flipped the little sign on the glass door to say 'open'.

Soon a white haired male walked in, messy hair a scruff prominent on his face. "You look like shit" Addison muttered as she was moving boxes from the back room into the gym to finally put them away, what could she say? She was a procrastinator.

"Thank you my darling daughter of mine." The old man snickered and looked at her. "You need any help?" His hand reached up to the back of his neck to rub his aching neck, all along his arms and up his neck were tattoos, roses, fishes, crosses, X's, so many things that represented things in his life he could write a book on all of their reasoning's.  " I think I got it...." She mumbled as she set the last box down on the counter. "How are you Pops?" She looked over at him and smirked and opened the box with a pocket knife, sliding it across the packaging tape on the top of the box, peeling back the cardboard flaps to take out large plastic bag of Mouth Guards.

Pops grinned and shrugged his shoulders as he made his way over to the speaker system in the corner of the gym, he pulled out his SmartPhone and put the Aux cord into it and started playing music, Classic Rock. "Those gadgets you kids keep making up, I just can't keep up with them..." He sighed a little bit but chuckled. "I dare say their making me feel old!" The music played quietly in the background. "Old? What? Your only a fossilized human being moving around!" Addison laughed and walked over to pops and hugged him.

Addison stood outside in the dark, staring at the dark green and red gym. Soon the glass door opened and a little jingle from the door that had a dented metal bell handing from the top of it so that whenever the door was opened or closed it would make a little dinging noise. A Tall man- he looked young- with Dark Brown hair and a scruffy looking beard. He had dark colored eyes and turned to look straight at Addison. He seemed a little startled to see the little girl just zoned out staring up at the light yellow light that cast out of the windows and the glass door.

"Hey..... There.... Um- Little girl? Are you lost?" He walked a little closer to Addison, she flinched. The man then kneeled down and looked at her with a concerned look on his face. "No, I'm not lost." Addison said. "Then why are you out here at a time like this?" He questioned quietly. "I'm going somewhere safe, away from the bad people." Addison looked up at him. He looked a little awkward. Scratch that, really awkward. He leaned a little closer. "Do you want to some inside...? Away from the bad people?" He looked a little distraught at Addisons words. "No, I should probably keep walking until I can find a new Mommy." She shrugged. "But thanks."
"Err- Kid, please come inside with me? It's Dark, and Dangerou-" He was cut off when a hand was placed on his shoulder. A tall man with a black jacket and hat on muttered quietly. "Give me your wallet, and maybe I can leave peacefully." The man loomed over him. Addison flinched, she could see his hand, it had the diamond tattoo, he was one of the bad men.

Suddenly the man that was trying to get her to come inside jumped up and punched the man up the jaw and the man in the black hat let out a grunt of pain. Then he climbed on top of him and punched him again, and again, until he stopped moving.

"H-Hey kid, are you ok?" He looked at Addison, a look of fright on his face. Addison couldn't reply, she was frozen. "Kid are you ok?... Eh, W-Whatever... My names Pops. W-well it isn't my actual name bu-" The man behind them groaned again. 'pops' lunged forward, scooped up Addison, ran into the place he came out of, She believed it was called 'Calvin's Gym'. Pops quickly shut the door behind them and walked towards the back of the big room they were in, one side there was a large desk , then there was a mat and punching bags, then treadmills.... Soon they went through a second door and up a flight of stairs, burst through the door- which he locked. He rushed across the room and set her down on the couch. Pops walked over to her after a second of freaking out and put his hand on her shoulder.

"....Not my ideal introduction, I apologize for that. My name is Calvin... Most people call me Pops." He said. Addison looked down at his hands, and there was blood all over his knuckles, and it was beginning to dry. She paused and took in a breath. "I'm Addison."
Pops smiled. "Welcome to my Gym!"
